Why This Event ?

As many of you know, there has been a rapid and intense spread of Anti-Israel rhetoric at college campuses, which has exploded since October 7th. But when do those activities cross the line from appropriate and fair questioning of a government’s policy, to a much more dangerous and intentional form of antisemitism? Sadly, the answer is quite often.

The evening is built around an interactive game night, and should be a fun party and social gathering. But we also will include a compact, interesting learning portion that will help you understand:

[ 1 ] The truth about the dangerous forces at work on campuses;
[ 2 ] The facts and reality of what is going on in Israel and Palestine;
[ 3 ] How to defend yourself when attacked for being Jewish or pro-Israel and
[ 4 ] How to build bridges of understanding to folks that are not allies.

We know you are headed off to school in a few short months. Tonight will be a fun way to meet other high school seniors from LA, many of whom may be joining you at your college.
